Eastall Coil Car
The Eastall Coil Car/Loader is an ideal solution to high-risk areas of materials handling in the work place. It is a simple, safe and efficient design for steel coil transportation. Some of the features are:
- Coils are loaded onto the car/loader directly from the coil tilter using an Eastall 'C'-hook
- The loading of the Eastall uncoiler is easy as the unit slides the coil from the car onto the expanding mandrel
- Eastall coil cars/loaders are available in a range of sizes up to 10 tonne capacity
- 3 metre travel is industry standard but customised units can be manufactured to suit any requirements
- Dedicated push button control or can be installed as part of an integrated system
- Quality integral hydraulic components used
- Four pillar guides combined with a 500mm stroke hydraulic cylinder are standard. Customised options available
- Extended wings for extra stability
- Safety rail lock – anti tipping device is standard

Eastall Hydraulic Coil Tilter
The Eastall Hydraulic Coil Tilter (also known as an 'upender') is an ideal solution to a high risk area in the work place providing a simple, safe and efficient design for the materials handling of palletized steel coils.The design gives increased safety and efficiency when conducting the difficult and hazardous task of separating the steel coils from the transport pallet and the need to change orientation from a vertical bore position to a horizontal bore position.
The mode of operation is as follows:
Some of the Industries currently using The Eastall Hydraulic Coil Tilter are as follows:
- Coils are loaded onto the coil tilter by a forklift or overhead crane
- The coil tilter is safely operated from a remote position and is able to rotate the coil through 90 degrees allowing for safe removal from the transport pallet
- The tilted coil can be transferred by an Eastall C-Hook and loaded into the production environment. This safe and easy operation reduces risk on coil changeovers and assists in increasing productivity

Eastall Machine Guarding
Eastall Machine Guarding is specifically designed to meet the Australian industry standards required in the workplace and can easily be applied in various applications.
Machine Guarding is generally used where there is risk of injury to company personal and safety during production is paramount. Offering employees, a safe workplace is critical to increased production, reduced downtime from injuries, lowering overall costs and increasing employee morale.
Eastall’s works closely in consultation with clients to provide the best possible guarding for each application and provide drawings of proposed guarding for approval before manufacturing. Eastall’s can also arrange for installation of machine guarding - please advise if you require a budget for installation.

Eastall Quad Hook
The Eastall Quad Hook is a simple, safe and efficient design for the materials handling of vertical bore steel coils.
The design gives increased safety and efficiency when lifting vertical bore steel coils by crane, eliminating the dangers commonly associated with using the traditional T-hook and coil damage from unravelling.
This new product has proven to be very successful in use and operator feedback has been highly positive. Some distinguishing characteristics include:
- A unique patented design based on fulfilling customer OH&S requirement
- Four points of contact instead of two - both the inside and outside of the coil are supported on four legs
- A simple effective lifting lever action
- Auto-latch/un-latch feature for remote coil handling
- Multiple handles enable the operator to easily guide the product into location
- Simple auto-release mechanism to disengage Quad Hook once coil has been positioned
Eastall Spreader And Lifting Beams
The Eastall Spreader and Lifting Beams have been specifically designed for the safe lifting of heavy and cumbersome loads. The Spreader Beam is used where loads are required to be lifted and moved in a horizontal configuration.
The load being lifted is spread over the length of the beam giving an even distribution and a safer lift. The Lifting beam is generally used in materials handling environment where loads are required to be lifted and moved in a horizontal configuration and the load is lifted from a single lifting point.
Custom made spreader and lifting beams to suit a range of materials handling requirements can be designed and manufactured to suit your particular specifications.

Eastall Self-Levelling C-Hook
The Eastall Self Levelling C-Hook is a materials handling/lifting attachment originally designed for industries handling steel coils.
Due to its ease of use it is now used in other industries where material handling is part of the manufacturing process. Industries currently using the Eastall 'C' Hook include:

- Wire industries – Wire rope coil handling
Eastall Uncoiler/De-Coiler
The Eastall Uncoiler/De-Coiler is a standard unit in our materials handling range, designed to handle large range of steel coils in differing sizes and loads. Safety in materials handling has been the biggest driver in the design of the unit followed closely by efficiency and ease of use. The coils are loaded from the coil tilter or other storage area by using a 'C' hook and the mandrels are expanded and grip the internal bore of the core. There are two options to control the feed rate from the coil:
- Mechanical brake with the roll former line dictating speed and demand
- Motorised feed out at pre-determined rates to suit production requirements
- Manufactured as standard up to 10 tonne capacity
- Min coil I.D 500mm
- Max coil Length 940mm
- Supplied as stand-alone equipment or as part of an integrated materials handling production system
- Motorised or friction brake options
- Suitable for light or heavy gauge materials
