Engineering Services and Solutions

Eastall Precision Engineering is comprised of 4 separate divisions. These divisions have the ability to work as a single unit on large scale jobs or independently for specialist’s projects. Within each of these divisions is a highly trained team on engineering specialists committed to delivering exception results time and time again.

GENERAL ENGINEERING

Our General Engineering Division is the core division within our company. Our experienced fitters and turners who work in this area are able to manage both large turning work and small precision work. From repairing a hydraulic ram to manufacturing small complex prototype parts, our staff and machinery can handle all kinds of general engineering work. Below is a list of our machinery and their capacities.
  • Lathes - we have a variety of lathes that can cater for up to 825mm dia. over bed (1100mm dia. over gap) and 3000mm between centres
  • Mills - Our tables are 280mm wide x 1475mm long and 340mm wide x 1400mm long
  • Surface Grinder - table size is 925mm x 315mm
  • Large Slotter - table is 800 dia. with a 600mm stroke
  • Small Slotter - table is 395mm dia. with a 254mm (10 inch) stroke

CNC MACHINING

Our CNC Division offers high quality production and repetition machining with a focus on product consistency and reliable turnarounds. We do in-house 3D computer modelling for all drawings and have the necessary programs to read and convert many different file types. Our CNC team is able to both program and operate their machinery, leaving our CNC leading hand and supervisor to organise the workflow as efficiently as possible. We have a wide variety of machines to cater for different product requirements including:
  • CNC Barfeed Lathes - Our CNC barfeed lathes can turn up to 60 dia. stock
  • CNC Chucking Lathes - Our CNC chucking lathes can turn up to 400 dia. x 1000 long
  • CNC Mills - Our CNC mill beds are 1500 long x 500 wide
  • Wire Cutter - Our brand new wire cutter has a maximum cutting area of 550 x 370mm, maximum work piece dimensions of 1,000 x 730 x 300mm, maximum height 310mm
  • CNC Bandsaw – This machine allows us to cut up large volumes of material cost effectively and often faster than our steel suppliers. This cuts the downtime for receiving material down to next-daydelivery in many situations

Fabrication

Our Fabrication shop is capable of MIG, TIG and stick welding. They provide complimentary services for our CNC and General Engineering divisions, as well as taking on fabrication work direct.Our Fabrication staff is either qualified boilermakers or apprentices and has a variety of machinery to complement their welding abilities. Cropper and Punch - we can crop 16mm plate and punch 20mm platePress – 200 tonne Pipe Bender - can bend up to 50mm tube
